J.K. Fabrication is the exclusive manufacturer of the Nordic product line.

The Nordic line is well known for quality and dependability and used throughout the world. We work closely with local hydraulic experts and naval architects and engineers to provide the best quality and service to our customers.

Nordic Machine was originally established in 1946 in the basement of H.A. Thompson, Inc., the shop produced quality winches and deck equipment by specification of Pacific Northwest fisherman. H.A. Thompson completed its new building in 1984 expanding the machine shop's capabilities and service. In the fall of 1986 the decision was made to separate the machine shop from H.A. Thompson, Inc. and create a new identity, Nordic Machine and Manufacturing.

In 2002, we took over the Nordic product line and are continuing to manufacture all of the hydraulic deck equipment, yacht winches, anchor and trawler winches, longline equipment, fish strippers, and side rollers. When it comes to machining and fabricating marine equipment, we are known for the high standard of workmanship that customers have relied on for 61 years.
