FISH STRIPPER/HOOK CLEANER

We have come up with an improved fish stripper/hook cleaner. The new, all stainless steel unit, is heavily constructed, designed for years of service and dependability.

To allow snarls to pass through quickly, the unit is hinged at the bottom to open up with an easily accessible single-handle latch mechanism.

When opened, one side of the unit pulls away from the other, separating the brushes and allowing plenty of room for snarls to pass through or around the cleaning brushes.

Water sprays over the cleaning brushes as the gear comes aboard to keep the brushes free of stripped bait. When the bristles wear down and it's necessary to present a fresh surface to the incoming gear, you simply slide them out and rotate them 90 degrees and slide them back into place for a new cleaning surface.

As it has become even more important for the commercial fisherman to operate as efficiently as possible, we have added a hydraulically actuated hinge package. This style quickly opens the stripper frame when clearing snarls by use of a hydraulic control valve.

Other manufacturers do not offer a hydraulic mechanism.

The compact unit measures 12" x 12" x 23", making it suitable for small vessels as well as the larger fleet.

The new, all stainless steel, design is sure to gain the reputation as our other 7 products.

One of the biggest differences is that our units are less $$$ than the others. Our fish strippers use the same brush type and method of water spraying over the brushes as do competing models.
