Our tow pin systems are comprised of two, three, or four tow pins, tow hook(s), and a horizontal stern roller.

These units are mounted in an enclosure that is welded to the stern of the vessel.

In addition, a separate electro-hydraulic power unit with solenoid valves is included.

Each stern pin is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder located beneath it. When extended, the pins rise above the enclosure to engage the tow line. In the retracted condition, the top of the pins are flush with the top of the enclosure.

The tow hook is mounted in the same fashion and swings out of the enclosure to a vertical position. In the stowed position, the back of the hook is flush with the top of the enclosure.

The electro-hydraulic power is delivered with pre-plumbed suction, as well as pressure and return lines, to the solenoid valves.

We produce several sizes of tow pin and hook combinations ranging from 8-1/2" to 16" pin diameters.
